Terms of Use

1. Who we are. Taab Studio ("the app", "we") is an AI content studio operated from Kuwait. By creating an account you accept these terms.

2. Your account. You sign in with your phone number, Apple or Google. You are responsible for what is done from your account and for keeping your device secure. You must be 18 or older, or use the app with a parent's permission.

3. Points. Features are paid with points. Points are bought as packages through the App Store or Google Play, or given as a welcome gift. Gift points expire on the date shown in your wallet. Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not refunded except where the law or the store requires it. When a generation fails on our side, the points for it are returned automatically.

Result guarantee: if a finished result doesn't match what you asked for, tap "Didn't match" on it within 7 days (once per result). An automatic check reviews it; when it finds a clear problem (not your face, instructions not followed, defects, the wrong product or text) its price goes back to your wallet as credit at once; otherwise our team reviews it. Refunds are in-app credit only, never cash, and matters of taste are not covered.

4. Your content. You keep ownership of the photos, recordings, videos, text and logos you upload, and of the results we make for you. You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, including permission from any person who appears in a photo, recording or video, and that you will not upload content that is illegal, hateful, sexual, or that imitates a real person without their consent.

5. Faces and voices. Portrait, ID-photo, family and presenter tools use the faces in the photos you upload; voice tools may clone a voice from a sample you record. You may only use your own face and voice, or those of people who have given you their clear permission. Temporary voice models are deleted after each job.

6. AI results. Results are generated by artificial intelligence and can be inaccurate or unexpected. Check them before using them commercially. We do not guarantee that a result is unique or free of third-party rights.

7. Acceptable use. Do not use the app to deceive, harass, defame, infringe copyright, generate content about minors in a sexual way, or to break any law. We may refuse requests, remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Availability. We may change, suspend or stop features at any time. We try to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted service.

9. Liability. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

10. Ending the account. You can delete your account from the Account screen at any time; this removes your profile, files and sessions. Purchase records are kept as required by law.

11. Changes. We may update these terms; the app will ask you to accept material changes.

12. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: your phone number or the e-mail and name shared by Apple/Google sign-in, your chosen display name, language and intended use.
• Content you upload: photos, recordings, videos, logos and text, and the results we generate. Pictures are downscaled and their location/camera metadata is removed before upload; we remove metadata from videos and recordings on our server.
• Purchases: store transaction identifiers and the package bought. We never see your card or payment details.
• Device and usage data: a random device identifier created by the app (used only to give the welcome gift once per device), the device model, app version, the IP address and time of each sign-in, and error reports.

How we use it

• To provide the features you ask for, charge and refund points, prevent fraud and abuse, keep the service secure, and help you when you contact support.
• Your content is sent to the AI services listed in the next section, only for the job you requested and only after you allow it in the app.

AI services and your consent

• The app sends nothing to AI services until you allow it on the "Your content and AI services" screen in the app. You can withdraw at any time in Account → Privacy and data → AI services.
• What is sent: the photos (including faces), videos, voice recordings, logos and text you add to a request, and your answers to the tool's questions.
• Who receives it: fal.ai (pictures and video), Google Gemini (pictures, text and voices), OpenAI (text and pictures), Anthropic Claude (text and pictures), ElevenLabs (voices and sound clean-up) and Higgsfield (video made from your filmed clips).
• Why: only to make the result you asked for. These providers process it under their commercial API terms to return the result; it is not used for advertising and we never sell it. We use providers whose terms commit them to the same or equal protection of your data as this policy.

Face data

• What we collect: the photos and videos you upload, which may show faces (your own, someone who gave you permission, or your child if you are the parent or guardian). We never collect face data from the camera in the background, and we do not use Face ID or any face-recognition feature of your device.
• All uses: face photos are used only to make the result you ask for and to keep the person looking like themselves, in these tools: portraits, ID photos, family and kids pictures, presenter and dubbing, try-on and football shirt, art templates and trends, and videos made from your clips. While your result is made, a vision model locates 12 points on the face (eyes, nose, mouth, chin and face outline) to compare the result with your photo and correct it, and to check a result when you use the Result guarantee. These points exist only in the server's working memory; they are never written to a database or file, and they are cleared when the job ends, as newer jobs replace them, and on every restart.
• What we never do: we do not create a face ID, faceprint or biometric template, and we do not use faces to recognise or track people, verify identity, advertise, market, or train AI models. We never sell face data or share it with data brokers.
• Sharing and disclosure: the photo itself (not separate face data) is sent only to the AI provider that makes your result: fal.ai, Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) and Higgsfield. We do not disclose face photos to anyone else unless the law requires it.
• Equal protection by third parties: we share face photos only with providers whose commercial terms commit them to the same or equal protection as this policy: processing them only to return your result, not using them to train models or for advertising, never selling them, and deleting them within their limited retention periods.
• Retention: your original photo and the result are stored on our server (Hetzner, EU) for at most 90 days, then deleted automatically. The face points are never kept after the job ends.
• Withdrawing consent: no photo is sent to AI services until you allow it in the app. You can withdraw at any time in Account → Privacy and data → AI services, and sending your photos stops at once.
• Deleting face data: (1) Deleting your account on the Account screen deletes all your photos and results from our server immediately. (2) To delete your face photos without deleting your account, email support@taab.studio from your registered phone number or e-mail and we will delete them from our server within 7 days. (3) Deleting a project in the app removes it from your phone; its server copy is deleted automatically after 90 days.

Keeping and deleting

• Uploaded files and results are kept on our server for 90 days, then deleted automatically. Deleting a project in the app removes it from your phone; to remove your files from the server sooner, delete your account or email support@taab.studio.
• Sign-in sessions expire after 60 days of no use.
• Deleting your account removes your profile, sessions, files and results immediately. Purchase and ledger records are kept for the period required by accounting law, without your name.

Sharing

• We do not sell your data and do not use advertising or analytics networks. Data is shared only with the AI providers above (for your jobs), the SMS provider (to send your sign-in code), the app stores (for purchases), and our hosting provider (Hetzner, EU).

Your rights

• You can see and change your profile in the app, export your results, and delete your account. For any other request write to support@taab.studio.

Security

• All traffic is encrypted (TLS). Access tokens are stored in the phone's secure storage. Files are stored per account and served only to their owner.

Children

• The app is not directed at children under 18.

Changes

• We will tell you in the app when this policy changes in a material way.
